Ravenclaw being the house associated with knowledge and wisdom....

Answer

OMFG youre right!! I never thought about it before.brbrJKR is ALSO stereotyping against mousy, frizzy haired girls by typing Hermione as intelligent!brbrJKR is ALSO stereotyping against people with glasses by typing Harry as intelligent!brbrJKR is ALSO stereotyping against blondes by typing Malfoy as kind of a dumb .brbrJKR is ALSO stereotyping against blacks by typing Dean Thomas as the father of many illegitimate children and a huge fan of weed.brbrbrOkay, so maybe the last one was a bit off and ridikulus hee but not nearly as ridikulus hee as this question. brbrI think the only ONLY reason JKR would have placed an asian in Ravenclaw would be to represent the diversity at Hogwarts in comparison to other wizarding schools. Also, what other significant characters have we had from Ravenclaw? None, really. We saw characters from Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherinbut none from Ravenclaw really emerged until Cho. So....yeah....brbrGet off what ever inquisitive chariot you find yourself on, and enjoy your books a bit more. Anger, hatred, and racism does not permeate every crevice in life.brbrBesides, one of the themes present in the books is definitely one of acceptance of diversity and differences and NOT typecasting people as who they are on their outer skins.
